‘Your Childhood Address?” is a collection of GoogleMaps screenshots from people I had surveyed within my community. These images were installed as a slideshow projection as part of C_overt T_ransmissions: Video, Performance, Public Psychotherapy This collection of images showcased the childhood homes of people present in the gallery space. Surfacing questions around privacy and access as well as authenticity, and actuality. Transmissions reorganize an interaction between the 1-1, the apparatus shares (exposes), distresses (skews), distorts (pixelates) transcribing the intimacy of daily life into numeric residue of calculable data which informs both public and private spheres.
